ABOUT

Language of Life: Language of Humanity

  • Researches a code of language to co-create nature culture via art and contemplative practices .

  • Examines what we can learn from nature, inner nature and each other by being and experimenting.

  • Investigates if Mummy Harmony’s use of the mixed media Silent Conversation Installation can become a means of research

  • Creates platform to include and advocate for work of other artists, institutions, etc.

  • Aims to dissolve the sense of separation from nature/the surroundings/life/each other

  • Accesses/collects and shares information about our environment

  • Adopts radical humility to become open to engaging with the unfamiliar

  • Plays string figures as per Donna Haraway’s description:

string figures are like stories, they propose and enact patterns for participants to inhabit’. (…) Playing games of string figures is about giving and receiving patterns. (…) String figures require holding still in order to receive and pass on. (…) These string figures are thinking as well as making practices, pedagogical practices and cosmological performances” (‘Staying with the Trouble’)

CODE OF LANGUAGE

Can we explore, experiment and be together to find a code of language to co-create together a new story to open ourselves to unexpected collaborations and combinations in order to support a paradigm based on wholeness, belonging, conscious relationships and relational being.?

We are doing this through THE SILENT CONVERSATION INSTALLATION. It consists of questions to pre-chosen themes. YOU give answers and they are shared with others to interact with and you can interact with the answers from others.

Let’s create a space for a cultural dialogue

About

MARIA WOJDYLO KELLY

Her goal is to investigate artistic modes as one of the means of research to establish a code of language supporting a shift towards a new paradigm based on wholeness, belonging, conscious relationships and relational being. She wishes to direct your attention to what stories we tell and create and ‘which stories tell stories as a practice of caring and thinking’ and being (D.Haraway). This is done by co-creating the world that has not been fully revealed.

She believes in imagination, adventure, experimenting, being and interconnectedness.
